WindPaddle Cruiser Kayak/Canoe Sail

WindPaddle Cruiser Kayak/Canoe Sail Review

WindPaddle Cruiser Kayak/Canoe Sail Feature

  • Weighing only 22 ounces, the WindPaddle stows on deck in a small folded coil 1/8th its deployed size
  • Usually requires NO modifications to your boat. Instead, it clips quickly and easily to existing deck lines or hardware.
  • Deploys in a matter of seconds from the on-deck location. Large window in the center panel of the sail for visibility
  • A continuous sheet (or steering line) allows the paddler to easily control the sail while keeping their paddle in their hands for bracing and steering
  • With the lowest center of gravity of any kayak/canoe sail available, the WindPaddle may be the safest sail you can buy
The WindPaddle Cruiser Sail is a self-launching, self-standing sail designed primarily for canoes and tandem kayaks / boaters. The Cruiser keeps all of the lightweight ease-of-use features of the WindPaddle Adventure Sail but cranks the power up a few notches for the heavier boats. It has a 50% larger sail area than the Adventure Model. The WindHarness (patent pending) allows you to quickly attach your WindPaddle onto any boat or switch between boats in seconds. If your boat has anything that can be clipped to - including deck lines, cleats, bungees, pad eyes, fairleads, thwarts, handholds on the gunwale or bench seat - you can probably attach your WindPaddle to it! Deployed diameter - 56" (142.24 cm.). Coiled/folded diameter - 20" (50 cm.). Sail area - 17.1 sq. ft. (1.589 m²)
