The Adirondack No.4 is crafted using a hardwood and epoxy framework bonded to five Basswood staves. The epoxy is reinforced with lateral Kevlar filaments. This provides a strong but light blade while retaining the look and comfort of a wood paddle. A straight shaft is best for most paddling on rivers and for short to medium distances on lakes. Chose your length by measuring from floor to mid-shoulder. Our best paddle, handcrafted for your hands in the Adirondacks, by Courter Joinery. Kevlar is a TM of DuPont.
